Title: Living with my spouse is like a roller coaster Post by: Mom of 7 on June 02, 2019, 07:32:25 PM Living with my spouse is like a roller coaster. We have 7 kids together and I do love him, but I don't know how much more I can take. I am constantly walking on eggshells and hate it. I have started standing up to him more and that only seems to make things worse. Some of our children are adults now and they see how bad he treats me when he is in a bad mood and they want me to leave. I would like to get counseling, but he refuses. I'm not sure what to do.

Excerpt I have started standing up to him more and that only seems to make things worse. Changing the way we respond to something will often take time to become familiar and part of the routine. He could be reacting as you are no longer being predictable. Can you describe how you have been standing up to him? The more detail you give the better we can help you trouble shoot or tweak things a bit.Excerpt I would like to get counseling, but he refuses. I'm not sure what to do.
