Title: had to share
Post by: Mom-of-Four on June 04, 2019, 02:09:47 PM

was just looking for Stop Walking on Eggshells via the library and this was in the comments section:

"I DO NOT recommend this book for anyone who may think they have BPD or anyone wanting to help someone with BPD. As a person with BPD, I found this book as targeting. I think this book would be extremely helpful for someone who found out that a person they are trying to distance themselves from has BPD. As it says, it should only be read if your trying to "take back YOUR life". I would only suggest "I hate you.. Dont't leave me"..Or contact me as I have written three unpublished memoirs that show inside the mind of a person with BPD."

this made me laugh and laugh...

Hello and Welcome to the boards, Mom-of-Four! :hi:

I would agree with the reviewer that WOE is not a good read for someone with BPD. The book has been very helpful to many members here, however; I'm glad you were able to find it at your library

As another resource for book reviews, our Community Built Knowledge Base includes a list of books that have been reviewed and discussed by members here: Library: Book Club, previews and discussions. (https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?board=33.60;sort=subject)

Mom, does one of your four children suffer from BPD?

~ OH

This is why we gently redirect pwBPD who sometimes find this board.

Why did it make you laugh?
