Title: EMS and ECT Post by: nevergupmom on June 22, 2019, 01:02:02 PM I've been researching EMS (electro magnetic stimulation therapy), my son's therapist suggested it for him. Unfortunately, there is NOONE in my area that takes his medicaide insurance. There is even a research study with MAYO clinic but it's in Baltimore, a good 12 hour drive away, and don't know for sure if he would even qualify for the study. This opened us up to the possibility of ECT- Electric Convulsive Therapy. My son wants to try it. Does anyone have any experience with these two treatments for BPD, depression, etc...
From the videos on site, for the first time, I've seen the brain imaging, and there is a physical difference. We are so desperate for any help, and this looks promising. Appreciate your feedback. -nevergupmom |
