Title: I'm having trouble with inconsistent communication
Post by: kepp81 on July 19, 2019, 07:41:55 PM
See the gist of my story here: https://www.psychforums.com/verbal-abuse/topic213683.html

I can't figure out this sudden turn in her communication. She's being kind of nice and she's  replying to most of my texts about your kids. She's even using the "..." at the end of a text which I cannot overemphasize enough the significance of that...it's been our friendly way of texting each other since Day 1.

Is this a charm? Is she being manipulative for some reason? Is she back pedalling because she looks pretty bad for court?

its difficult to surmise what this might mean. right now, i would take it as a sign that some ice has thawed, and i wouldnt go beyond that.

She's almost conversational now. We've solved a long standing problem about paying for the kids' daycare, and how to pick a new pediatrician, and how to handle a minor injury our 4 year old suffered.

It's a complete 180 from April, May and June. She went from absolute silence to almost talkative.

its possible that some of the ice has thawed, and that she realizes its in everyones best interest to have the best possible co-parenting relationship.

what do you think?
