i'm new to this forum and finding it very helpful

I think one of the hardest things is how do I separate myself that when my husband is down - I don't get depressed.  I try so hard but find it impossible.  I can succeed a little but he is so upset about everything at that point that I end up getting down as well.
I am also a people pleaser and I can't stand when he is upset at me  (and somehow when he is down he usually gets upset at me even when I do nothing)
