Title: Just needed a day at home, alone...
Post by: isilme on August 13, 2019, 06:45:23 PM
I’m sick, H is sick, both home today, wishing I’d gone in.  He’s been ranting about a friend he’s painted black, yelling I need to ‘control’ her or he will.  Her transgressions? Being overly enthusiastic about knitting.  Yes, she knits when we go out to eat, and posts a lot of pics of her hats.  He is angry, says she’s wasting time and money making hats... enjoyment never figured into things for him.  Basically she has been around enough he sees her as an enemy to paint black, even tho she and her husband have been good friends.  I’m tired.  I wanted to sleep today.

It's especially hard when you're sick and in need of rest for energy and instead the energy is being sapped from you.  I hope you get some time to yourself and rest.

Nope. Small house snow here to go, got yelled at about dinner, back to telling me I need to make my friend ‘behave’.  Long night ahead.

Yeah, he dug and dug for things to yell at me about.  I’ve been fighting an immune disorder this past year, my housekeeping (I do ALL chores inside and out, most cooking, work full time, all errands) has slipped a bit as I am fighting chronic fatigue daily.  I’m improved, but you don’t get ‘better’.  I don’t go to the store as often as he wants, and I am not doing all my ‘chores and responsibilities’ as I should.  He does none.  I’m fine with that being the way things are if he doesn’t feel he has any right to shout about things that are behind.  But his disordered mind has him convinced he takes the trash out ‘all the time’ (he doesn’t... maybe 6 times a year he does it, and often doesn’t even take it all out) , that he cooks more often, and he was raging, I had no where to go, so I got to sit there and take it.
