Title: How long do I put up with BPD?
Post by: VAOsFan on October 17, 2019, 11:56:27 AM
After 20 years of marriage, I finally realized that my wife has BPD. I've read "Stop Walking on Eggshells," which has been very helpful. I feel God has led me to better understand her, with this book and another one, "The Everything  Guide to BPD" by Constance Dolecki. I take my marriage vows seriously. My love for her is in "Sickness and Health," and I certainly consider this "sickness." Some days are great. Today is not one of them. I know that no matter what I say or do, it will not be right, and will probably bring more angry episodes. She refuses to see a counselor. So I am seeing a LCSW to he me deal, but I'm not sure how good e is with BPD. He had to go and look it up in his book, when I went to see him the first time. Hopefully he'll do more research before my next appointment.
