Title: Relationship breaking up - children involved
Post by: AlmostDavid on November 03, 2019, 05:09:12 PM
Hi everyone,

My wife has BPD. However, she doesn’t know it and won’t accept it.
We are the parents of 3 little children (under 4 years old).
It has become unbearable to live with her, however, I know that with the right treatment, our marriage could work.
We are starting a process to get divorced. This may sound masochist, but I really want to save our marriage and to protect my children from suffering.
Even if I don’t save my marriage, I do want a healthy mother for my kids.
Any ideas?
Any kind of help will be kindly appreciated.
Lots of love

Wife wants to split because now she realized I am pretty much the source of all her discomfort.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

*welcome*

It totally makes sense that you want to save your marriage and keep your family together.  Many of us have been there.  Can you tell us more about how it has become unbearable to live with her?
