Title: When the borderline clings and wants freedom at the same time
Post by: GoldenBubble on November 23, 2019, 05:29:03 AM
Saturday night (we call it date night) has been a source of grief for us for several years. H insist on going on dates but he seems to be overwrought with anxiety and agitation. Many fights have occurred as well. He also wants to accompany me everywhere I go, wants me to stay home all the time.

I get the feeling he really doesn't want to spend so much time with me but feels the need to do so only to calm his fears. He projects resentment as well like he resents the loss of freedom because he has to be with me to calm himself. Anyone had this situation? It really reeks of borderline ambiguity.
