Title: Having a hard time staying. Post by: Driven2Anxiety on December 05, 2019, 10:32:24 PM I suspect my wife is high functioning BPD. I think she's pretty much checked out. We have 3 kids together under 3 (I know not the best situation for BPD mom) and I really am just stuck in lose lose situation. We're going on a trip and I love her so much. But she doesn't say I love you back anymore. Still has the irritant, paranoia symptoms and will get super mad at me over the smallest things. Since learning about BPD I've been a lot better partner for her, but still I have no idea where she's at. She said she would see a psychiatrist but I don't know where to start. Is it worth staying? Or should I just get out now with 50% custody of kids and move on with my life. I'm so confused. I've got anxiety over this (never had it before) I can't focus, I'm so isolated and it is hard because I love my kids and her. But one day she loves me, the next she is in love with me and then the next she hates me and says it's just my personality she doesn't like and she says the meanest things. Then it's like she struggles apologizing for it after...
Recently she's been doing self reflection and is wrorking on herself but she struggles because she runs through these episodes and it discourages her. I don't know how much longer she can go and I don't know how much longer I can go... We've been married for 5 years now. |
