Welcome to the group. I am glad you found us. This is a great place to get reliable information about BPD and support from other parents who are in your situation. How do we manage? There are a lot of things that help First on the list is self care. Loving someone with BPD is a tough journey and you need to be as healthy and centered as possible. Lots of us are in therapy and find it helps. If alcohol or drug abuse is part of your child's condition AlAnon is excellent. Also learning all you can about BPD helps a lot particularly when it comes to learning the communication skills you need to improve your relationship. If you look at the top of your screen you will see links to some first rate articles and films that include lots of practical advice. What more can you say about your child? What are they doing that causes you to think they may have BPD? How can we help?
