How are you? Thanks for reaching out. You've come to a great place for help. Your story is not mine - I'm here because I have a BPD ex - I had two stepsons for a time. They both suffered. Can you say more about the things you are feeling? What kind of thoughts are going through your mind? Are you, like my former stepsons - my ex won't let me talk to them directly - I get word to them through their father - blaming yourself for all the things she projected on you? Prayers to you tonight (at least night where I am). People here will listen. You will be believed. They will see beauty in your courage. Welcome to the group :hi: What kinds of patterns are you seeing? Can you tell us a little bit more of your story? You are not alone everyone here has someone with BPD or BPD Traits in their lives we really to "get it". Hang in there, Panda39 Title: Re: Feeling so alone Post by: Woolspinner2000 on December 24, 2019, 09:18:50 PM Welcome LloydChristmaz! :hi:
How well I remember those first times of seeing that I was having dysfunctional thoughts as a result of growing up having an uBPDm too, like you. It was, to put it mildly, overwhelming to make this discovery. Those of us here understand so much of what you may be going through, and we are all in different stages of growth and learning and discovery. A great link is our Survivors Guide (https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=331826.0[b). Click on the link and then on #1 in the list to read about the common steps we go through. Which step do you feel applies to you right now? Keep sharing! We  to listen and support! Wools |
