Title: Daughter - I feel like a prisoner in my own home.
Post by: Liza#82 on December 26, 2019, 02:24:47 PM
My 60 year old daughter is home for the holidays. She has had this problem since childhood. I have set boundaries which she violates.  I leave the conversation before it escalates.  Her son is home as well, and she has engaged him in a drama that he left my home to say with his father. My daughter is divorced from his father.  I feel like a prisoner in my own home.  False accusations---and constant badgering.

Welcome, Liza,
Yes, we truly understand the badgering . It is frustrating.  Here is a link from the tools drop down list at the top of the page for you to read.

This may help.  Are there any other ways you can perform self care for you while she is visiting?
