Title: Rollercoaster
Post by: Paradachs on January 07, 2020, 08:40:50 AM
I am new, but not to the ups and downs that is my life with my husband of 15 years. We now have a name for this battle, after it being called major depressive disorder, anxiety, suicidal ideations, ect...he has borderline personality disorder and I am his support. I'm not one to ask for anything, but it's to the point I am no longer asking, but screaming for help.

Paradachs, welcome. I'm so glad you're here. I'm so sorry for all that you've been through and the heavy weight you're carrying.

When I found this site I was in a very similar position, desperately needing support. My H has BPD traits and is frustratingly enmeshed with his BPD mom. It's been one of the most challenging things I've ever had to deal with. The support I've found here has been a lifesaver for me.  Things can get better for you.

How did you finally determine that your husband has BPD?

You're not alone, Paradachs. We'd love to get to know you and learn how we can support you.

Paradachs, I'd like to join pursuingJoy in welcoming you to the family! :hi:

I can sense the pain, confusion and exhaustion in your post. But you've found a safe place with people who truly do understand what you're going through.

I hope, when you feel like it, you'll share more so we can know how best to help.

We care and we're here to help.
