Title: BPD and ASPD: Do these 2 disorders coexist? Post by: SadtimesAZ on January 11, 2020, 02:43:20 PM Mod Note: this thread was split from here https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=342235.msg13095990#msg13095990 as it warrants it's own discussion.
Yes that's why PDs are clustered. Cluster B, BPD, ASPD, NPD have shared traits. With all the different traits of PD'S you can have several comorbidities. You can even have a DID multiple personality with separate traits for the alters. I've done a lot of research on murderers, female mostly thanks to my ex. Pretty much all of them have been diagnosed BPD, highly narcissistic or dependent with depression or anxiety disorders. One enduring trait is victimizing themselves as an excuse for their behavior. CPS doesn't have the brain power to recognize mental and emotional abuse by dysregulated adults against children. Courts in America protect these parents under HIPPA laws so they are free to abuse children unless they get caught red handed in some type of physical abuse. It's pretty disgusting if you really dig deep into how the system works. |
