NEA-BPD is offering a webinar series to educate and provide skills to those struggling with a loved one who has characteristics of BPD and/or emotion dysregulation.

This is for people who have yet to participate in Family Connections™ or for those who need a refresher. Family Connections™ is a free 12-week course that meets weekly to provide education, skills training, and support for people who are in a relationship with someone who has BPD or emotion dysregulation.  Dr. Alan Fruzzetti and Dr. Perry Hoffman developed the course based on their research as well as their significant professional expertise in counseling people with BPD and their loved ones. Family Connections provides: current information and research on BPD and on family functioning; individual coping skills based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); family skills; and group support that builds an ongoing network for family members.

Skills for surviving a pandemic webinar I've found especially helpful; how to cope in a crisis, planning ahead. I'm now coping with a crisis I prepared for, Covid-19 was confirmed in Mum's care home this week. I'm taking time off from working at home (about to enter week 6 of lockdown). I'm practicing radical self care. I'm hoping for the best.
