My ex girlfriend has BPD severely and maybe even Bipolar 1 as well. My girlfriend and I got together in September and she broke up with me in November and had sex with a lot of people. We went 4 weeks without talking in December and then in January we sorted out our fight we had in December. We ended up getting back together. Things felt fine. We had a few intense arguments but worked through them. She got on Lamictal and Wellbutrin. She now has a best friend that has BPD and has been really attached to her since the end of January, early February. The girl was one of my best friends. Well my ex called me 2 weeks ago saying “She never had feelings for me” and sobbed and begged for me to stay in her life and that I was perfect and a god but she just pretended the whole time with me. It came really out of nowhere. My ex and my friend ended up hooking up (from my understanding). I saw a giant hickey on my friend and she said it came from a person who cared about her for more than 5 seconds which happens to be my ex. It hurts to think they had sex. I don’t know if I want to ever get back with my ex but do you think she’ll come back around again? When we talked in person she was so emotionless and was like, “Yeah, I know I manipulated you” in such a casual manner. Apparently her friend knows about the situation (which I kinda doubt) and said that her friend was nervous to hang around me because of the situation which I don’t believe to be true at all because her friend ran right up to me, gave me a big hug and was so excited to see me. My ex also told me she’s only ever seen me as a friend and nothing more. Most of my friends believe this to be untrue. How do I get over this situation? My ex and my friend ended up hooking up (from my understanding) wow. what a mind bender. i had an ex once that told me she never really loved me, in the heat of things. it was one of the hardest things i ever heard. whats "true" here is really hard to say. it sounds like so many things are at play. i can imagine how much this hurts. are the two of you officially broken up? what were some of the things that led up to the break up in november? |
