Title: How to help my sibling? Post by: Raven913 on April 28, 2020, 10:31:29 PM Hello. I think my sibling may be suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder. He has not been officially diagnosed but fits all the criteria I've come across in my research. How do talk to him, help / convince him to seek treatment? I know he is hurting and doesn't like how he is living his life. It hurts me and the rest of my family to see his constant struggle with his emotions and relationships. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am glad you are reaching out here for support and advice. BPD is quite a challenging disorder. How long has your brother been exhibiting behaviors you now believe are the result of BPD? Do you feel like your brother has ever shown any insights in his own behaviors and how damaging they might be?
