Title: Value myself
Post by: juju2 on May 03, 2020, 09:28:29 AM
today am sharing about ways I value myself.

Signed up for audible.  Am listening to an interesting true story of airplane crash survivors.

ordered new summer outfit for work.
Went for physical.  Got new anti depressant med and I wake up energetic.
The prev med was not helping.  I didn't know that some meds don't work for me and it can be hit or miss...

the cool side effect from this med is appetite suppression.  I have lost 5 lbs.

Got called back from furlough.  Furlough lasted 2 weeks.   It was actually like getting a paid vacation.

Am thankful to be going back to work.  Have worked since was 13, babysitting...
My parents believed in teaching us kids to earn our own money, we would value our money and value work.

I am thankful for this community.   You guys are everyday heroes.  Reaching out and sharing.   Thank you.!

the other thing am trying to do is believe.
trust.
have struggled my whole life with mistrust.
My program teaches that I am powerless over people, places, and things.  There is one who is Powerful, my Higher Power, and I trust Him in the care and direction of my life.
I am learning to trust...
I am not perfect in this and I see progress.

Am just noticing a new layer of understanding and wanted to share.
Thank you for reading this.
