I have a son who has bpd and anxiety along both bipolar 1. I am moving later this year to nova Scotia and he is extremely angry and says I am abondand him. How do I help him understand that this is not the case. Feeling exhausted and extremely frustrated and upset.

People with BPD tend to struggle a lot with both acceptance and change. I guess we all do, but for BPD sufferers it's ten fold.

When he accuses you of abandoning him, how do you respond?

Maybe we can brainstorm some ways to blend acceptance/change into your responses.

How old is your son?
