Title: my husband is gone
Post by: cg on June 05, 2020, 07:15:09 PM
My husband abandoned a 30 year marriage with no word or notice.  I thought he was dead for a week then was told by the police that he was alive and where he wanted to be. He roamed around Fl an MI for about 6 weeks.  Then I received a text at work that he had bought a gun and was going to ill himself.  I called 911 and had him hospita;ized.  There he was put on meds, diagnosed with                 bpd and released after 1 week.  I was Not wlling to let him back home so he went to his sister 1000 miles away.  I am having trouble with forgiving and an almost physical hurt.  Any advice on how to stay centered and separate?  Divorce seems a foregone conclusion.

Hello,
I am very sorry to hear about your situation.
I cannot imagine how you are coping.
Do you have a support system?
How much of a surprise was this?
Has he shown signs of distress before?
Has he threatened to leave before?
What do you make of this episode?
