Title: The breakdown of my marriage
Post by: PapaLion on June 06, 2020, 12:05:17 PM
Hey everyone, I am new here and this is my first post. I am very new to the diagnosis of borderline so am trying to understand how it specifically directly or indirectly contributes to the breakdown of my relationship.

I have been married since 2007 and have one child, son of 12, and most of that time has been really hard and stressful; including recovery from multiple addictions, multiple comorbid mental health issues and suicidal attempts and hospitalization.

I am very curious about how I can best navigate through this to find peace and joy in spite and/or because of the challenges.

open and listening...

Thank you

PapaLion

multiple addictions, multiple comorbid mental health issues and multiple suicide attempts definitely takes a toll...on you, on her, on the relationship.

tell us more. i imagine there is quite a bit going on.

you mentioned a diagnosis, was it recent?
