I just joined .  Looking forward to the support from others.  In divorce proceedings.  After 40 years it got to be too much to handle.

Hi and welcome! This community is great.

40 years is a long time! That must have been difficult. I am getting ready to leave uBPDh of 10 years, and detaching has been a struggle!

I am fairly new here too, I think you will get a lot of support here.

Hey mjlynn, Welcome!  I'm sorry to hear about your divorce.  Right, it wears you down over time, which is why I say that most BPD relationships are not built to last.  You must be strong to have hung in there so long!  Fill us in a little on your situation, when you get a chance.  What was the straw that broke the camel's back?  How did you figure out that your spouse has BPD?  How are you holding up?  How did you find the courage to end things after a long marriage?
