Title: I Have an adult daughter with BPD...had to detach years ago
Post by: missymoo on July 13, 2020, 07:57:37 PM
I raised a child who was beautiful on the outside but angry and jealous on the inside. She punished me her whole life and blamed me for all her disappointments. What's a mother for!
After 30 years of gut wrenching drama, I detached, moved to another country and spent 2 years having trauma therapy, stem cell transplant while trying to carve out a new life with my wonderful husband.
Bomb! My daughter now 33 has had a baby.
Another set of circumstances...but difficult to digest.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
I would love to hear your story - please.

Hello missymoo  :hi:

I can imagine that is difficult to digest and feels like a bomb, your daughter has a baby. I'm not a grandmother, there are many here as you'll read.

Hands up to you  |iiii keep up your radical self care missymoo, it so important we do. My DD recently took part in a radical self care research project and gained much from the experience.

I hope you'll hang out with us and share more as you wish.
