Title: Unable to connect
Post by: Help881106 on August 03, 2020, 07:30:10 PM
Hello

My husband has BPD , he has recently cheated on me and it is hard for me to trust that what he tells me know is the truth.  The affair has lasted for 2 years and while I feel I fell apart because I was constantly taking care of him and taking care of our family.  I am feeling alone and saddened by it all.  He will not get help and he continues to expect me to feel ok that he wants to go out with his friends and not tell me where he is going or with whom.  I want my husband back and I do not want to feel this way any longer but I am trying to show him how much he means to me and us but he is always questioning if it is true.

Welcome, you are in the right place.

Sorry you are having a difficult time.

How long have you been together.

Being in a relationship w someone who has BPD can be a challenge on more than one level.

This seems to be a crisis in your relationship.
What can we provide here to support you.
We are not supposed to give "run" advice here.

In my time with my now separarated boyfriend, it seemed like most of what we went thru was his chaos making and my weak boundaries.  It was a bad combination of behaviours.

I am slowly learning behaviours that are more healthy.
