Title: how long can I do this for?

my husband as bpd.   In general his moods go up and down but he also has more extreme swings.
for ex.  last week we had an issue with my son playing with fire. This triggered dh who did not respond well and he got angry at me that i'm not a good mother if my son can do something so bad  and he said he's divorcing me and lots of not nice things to me.  Then he ignored me the rest of the week.  Now he switched back and is talking to me as if nothing happened.  no apology - nothing.
but i'm not okay - i'm still upset and hurt with his behavior towards me.  An issue with children has to be dealt with together not just blamed on me and punishing me for it.  and he has no apology and i'm supposed to just jump back to a relationship.   I am seriously thinking divorce as I don't know if I can continue in a relationship like this.

Another question I have - is this normal for bpd or could this bipolar in addition to bpd.  His mood swings are so severe.   usually triggered down but then who knows when he will switch back.
