My 17yo was hospitalized for the same reason this summer. She came out in horrible shaped, it reinforced all her fears, anxiety and rage. She's been such a difficult, aggressive, mean, sulky, selfish, entitled/unempathetic person since she got out. Saying unspeakably, abusive things and obviously very sick. I'm sorry you're going through this ❤️ I probably spent two days just googling this disorder reading the Reddit subforums, academic articles about brain function in BPD, and now this forum. It is disturbing and sad as hell.

Many times in posts around here you will see it listed as SWOE. Is this the first hospitalization for your child? Have the doctors that diagnosed her offered any resources? Best, FF |
