Title: Received random text from ex girlfriend Post by: wbrady11 on January 25, 2021, 09:34:27 PM My ex was diagnosed with BPD years ago. We split up a couple years ago. I still love her and want to reconcile. She blocked me everywhere. A couple days ago out of nowhere, I got a random text from her that was asking for someone close to my last name that seemed “accidental.” I replied back it was me and asked how she was doing. She hasn’t replied at all. What gives?

With BPD trying to figure out their actions can make you feel crazy. The only thing you can do is control your actions/response. I would text back saying something like Hey it sounds like this was an accidental text. But I just wanted you to know that I have thought about you, and if you were interested in grabbing a coffee and chatting sometime I would like that. If not, hope you are doing well.
Something like that where you acknowledge what she said about the text being meant for someone else, then stated how you feel/want, while also understanding that there are no expectations since you are not in a relationship. |
