Title: How to help my daughter Post by: Buckeyefan on January 27, 2021, 05:55:40 PM My adult daughter has BPD along with PTSD and abuses alcohol. She has attended inpatient and outpatient programs before she was diagnosed with BPD and sees a therapist and psychiatrist. She has only dated a few guys and when the relationships ended she couldn’t function. It just happened again. She wrecked her car yesterday because of her mental state and is now in bed. She likes her therapist but, she says she needs more support. Something specific for BPD. I haven’t found anything locally so far. Are there good online programs or a resource to find local BPD specialists?

You can also try contacting NEA-BPD, they're "the" national BPD resource outreach program. Sorry to hear about the accident, but glad to hear she was alright!
