I credit this time to him being able to stabilize, learn grooming, basic housekeeping. He learned coping skills. The regimented supervised schedule set him on a good course that allowed him to graduate high school and even college. Even though he is an adult now and has chosen not to follow therapy / getting help, he had a few good years as a result of residential.
