Title: Close friend at work now ignores me but has traded me for others Post by: Woundedfriend on February 07, 2021, 04:08:09 PM So I worked with a lady for about 4 years and always secretly had a crush on her though nothing serious (I’m Married as is she.) She a rung above me on the ladder at work and often has to check my work. I wasn’t even sure that she even really liked me that much to be honest. Well I got sick and was out of work for a month. She out of the blue texted and checked up on me daily and sometimes more than daily. Well we got really close. She helped me with my marriage giving me advice. I started having feelings for her and told her. I also told her how I always had a crush. I was NOT trying seduce her or get anything other than friendship even though I care very much about her and she very attractive. To make a long story short we got into constant make up break up fights. I would always ask if she wanted me just to go away and leave her alone and she always came back. Well we had a huge fall out and she didn’t talk to me for 2 months. Later we made up and became close again. I asked her Christmas Eve since we were the last two there if I could “ Walk out” with her. Months later we did that all the time. I waited for her to close and we walked out. She said “ Nawwee I’m good.” I was shocked. I asked “ are you sure” and she said something about having to turn off her computer but wished me a merry Christmas. Anyways I felt very hurt by this and the next day when she wished me a very thoughtful merry Christmas I waited until 10 pm ( which accidentally was 12 hours to the minute) and replied
