Title: Hello new here Post by: Mumofeupd on April 01, 2021, 03:50:35 AM Hi I have a 30 year old son with EUPD and I'm just worn to a frazzle. I'm hoping to chat to other parents of EUPD kids.

Thanks for reaching out. I am not sure I can talk too much on your adult son's EUBD. The similarity to BPD would be emotional availability and unable to have a normal adult relationship with give and take. You can try to look at the lessons of validation, JADE, and SET are very useful for learning how to deal with BPD. These are in the drop down subjects above on this forum. Something else to look our for is we often when we get wrapped up into helping our grown BPD kids, we adopt codependent behaviors that are counter productive. The most important thing you can do to help your adult son is to take care of yourself. What kind of support do you have for you? Does your son live with you? |
