Title: My wife has BPD and DID
Post by: Sprinkles on April 22, 2021, 10:21:05 PM
Hey everyone, I'm currently struggling and reaching out for any help with this. I am newly married to an amazing girl who suffered from bpd and did. I'm having a hard time understanding a lot about the way her brain works and it's causing a lot of stress on her. What can I do to help?

I’m struggling with the same thing. I don’t really have any advice but you’re not alone!

Lots of folks here are going through what you are - we are all trying to figure stuff out and help each other.

I strongly recommend reading
Stop Walking On Eggshells
Stop Walking On Eggshells Workbook
Loving Someone with Borderline Personality Disorder

If your romantic partner has BPD, or you suspect they have - those books will be immeasurably helpful.

It is helpful to read them with a notebook or an electronic way to take notes.  (I like electronic better - because it is easier to search for things later)
