Title: Thank You
Post by: jmbl on May 25, 2021, 12:25:52 PM
This post is to say thank you to the individuals on this board, along with my family (although they aren't reading this - to my knowledge!).

Last week, my household experienced a BPD crisis. This week, we've entered the calm, supportive norms of our household. Reaching out to people who understand my situation was vital to our wellbeing. Along with the board members, I had the support of a friend, my mother-in-law, and my partner's ex (mother of my step daughter) and I was able to care for myself while responding to my partner's crisis with love and understanding. It was the first time I had reached out, and it made the world of difference.

Dealing with your loved one with BPD in isolation is so hard. It has been less than two weeks since I joined this board, and I can't believe that there is a whole community dealing with similar problems as me. Thank you for your advice, stories, and courage of posting.
