Title: My 39 year old son only wants to see me, not Dad. Should I go see him alone?

My son wants to see me, his mom. He is not wanting to see his Dad or his brother. Should I go visit my son, alone?

This is a really difficult situation for you. Thinking through what I would do . . . . .

I think if it were me, it would depend on what Dad and Brother thought. If they were strongly against it I probably wouldn't go.

If they were thinking something like 'Well it's better if someone keeps the contact' then I would go.

The reason is that if there was a possibility that by going I ended up in a 'piggy in the middle' situation, then I think that should be avoided.

What do they think about you visiting?
