Title: Teenage Child
Post by: WiseOne on June 25, 2021, 08:59:11 AM
For many years I have been struggling to find ways to create a peaceful environment in my home. My son, nearly 18, controls the mood. I want to learn how to defuse arguments and live in peace. My husband of 20 years passed away suddenly this past year. My son, the oldest of three boys, is now more difficult than ever to help. I am strong and determined to find solutions to our difficulties, but at the same time I am exhausted. I hope to find support and encouragement on these pages!

*welcome*

First of all...I'm so so sorry for your loss.  The unexpected and sudden loss of a spouse is a life changing event.

I'm positive that we can help you understand the dynamics of a pwBPD (person with Borderline Personality Disorder) are playing into the current situation and why they appear to be worse during this time of grief.

Is that something you feel up to exploring?

Best,
