Title: Problem solve an interfering relationship
Post by: Silverdash on March 12, 2022, 07:37:35 PM
After reading the DBT workbooks Im worried I could be viewed as an interfering relationship. I told him I want to be intimate with him again. He gently stated the boundary. I accepted this. He thanked me.
How can I problem solve being a potential interfering relationship? Is there any benefit to me voicing this concern to him to maintain our friendship? Or could that have a negative effect? Yes this may be overanalyzing. The more I read the more I question if I am doing the best I can to maintain a connection with him. This is the most backround work Ive done for a relationship. I am willing to accept we may never be intimate again.
