Title: Does BPD ex believe her lies? Post by: Blueberry Cat on May 09, 2022, 11:22:36 AM My BPD undiagnosed ex made a lot of allegations against me and accused me of cheating. All the accusations are false and I never cheated on her. All these lyes, like is she making it all up? Or dose she really believe it?
I’m going to have to go to court with her for a restraining order she is trying to get against me using these made up allegations. I am really confused as I remember all the good times and am now learning that the story of her life was made up, she lied to me a lot - does she believe her story ? Hey BC...familiarize yourself with projection. Also, smear campaign. I am giving you pointers to guide you in the right direction. However, if you want more information you are in control of that. I do not want to overwhelm you. I know this is very confusing, but something to understand about those who may have a mental health disorder is that the facts are not the facts to them. Their feelings are facts and how they feel is what is the truth. So to answer your question...yes she probably believes how she FEELS is the truth. Make sense? You cannot approach this situation logically. Unfortunately you will be dealing with many paradoxes here. That is the unfortunate reality.
