Title: My husband suddenly left me and has just been diagnosed with BPD Post by: Snowy20 on June 14, 2022, 02:54:40 AM After 10 years of marriage and for what I believed was a pretty perfect marriage my husband decided one day to end things over text. He worked away for the past 4 month and since then became distant. Our marriage was really good except one area and this was my husband didn’t seem interested in sex.
Since the breakup he has been depressed and I was left completely confused and heartbroken. He was giving mixed messages throughout I was waiting for him to feel better however he was saying he didn’t want to give me false hope as he didn’t know what he wanted but then would follow with a message that would give me hope. Things came to a head when I found out he had been meeting another woman, que the second blow for me. There was a massive eruption on my end which led to me saying I wanted a divorce and him going to therapy. Que the 3rd blow being told he has BPD. I have been left feeling numb and struggling to process everything not just now but for the whole our marriage. Those are very brutal blows, a downward spiral which sounded pretty quick. Your post was moved to Bettering since you're still married and processing where to go. The tools (at the top of the board) and members here can help support you in what you're thing through. I know you're hurting, but where do see things going in the short term? How did he find out that he has BPD? |
