Title: BPD Loves NPD
Post by: Stigmata12 on November 17, 2022, 02:20:05 AM
COVID KISSES[/centeR

NPD = BPD + BPD + VIOLENCE
Or how I term this equation would be, BPD (myself) is madly in love with Violent NPD man.
My story is long, exhausting, and your linear knowledge to it would do absolutely nothing for your
I.Q. I was misdiagnosed 23 years ago. I was NEWLY diagnosed BPD in 2012. Wonderful...I'm even more trouble than I originally knew. However, a name, a title, description, DIAGNOSIS, does one thing and one thing only...Stigmatizes you. I have been depressed as far back as I can remember being alive, and I have been in an on again off again relationship with suicidal ideation and numerous attempts since the age of 10 years old. Young? of course 10 years old is to young to already wish you were dead, but I was. My mother died of a severe heart attack the day she was to be released from the Hospital in Queens, NY. now, fast forward to today and I STILL feel that way, only it has compounded over the years in an exuberant amount and at the speed of light, and my relationship with the love of my life is going to end me one way or another...without a doubt

Hi Stigmata12,

Sorry to hear you're struggling, but I'm glad you've reached out. I'm sure you know the importance of doing that. Why do you think your relationship will end you one way or another ?  btw I like your point about linear knowledge and IQ, I'm dyslexic.

Folk on here are very understanding and non judgemental, so when you feel comfortable, it would be helpful to understand more. I should point out I'm not on here every day, but if we get your post going, folk often join in. We only use labels because it helps people new to all this understand quickly,, spectrums and DSM come later (but we don't know you yet). Keep safe.  :hug:

Hello Stigmata12, welcome to the group. Thanks for sharing a bit of where you're coming from and what's going on in your life.

You're in the right place if you have a partner with a PD such as NPD, and wish to improve your relationship.

If you were to list out the top few challenges in your relationship, what would they be? (I did notice you described your NPD partner as violent.)

I hope we can be helpful to you as you sort out what you want in your relationship.

Best;
