Title: Movie: Meet Cute - BPD Post by: BigEasyHeart on November 22, 2022, 11:56:51 AM Watched the new movie "Meet Cute" on Peacock last night. It was ok, but what really got me is how so much of the girl's behaviors reminded me of my own relationship with my ex. Especially notable was the oversharing by the woman at the beginning as she is idealizing the guy, and then immediately regretting that sharing, and the eventual devaluation. It's not a perfect match and it over-romanticizes as movies do, but it left me wondering. Is this a movie about dating a person with BPD? Has anyone else seen it? Thoughts?
