As I recollect, probably close to 30 years. Our BPD daughter is turning 40 this year. Thank you Randi Kreger for your books and including this website and support group. I dislike searching the internet and taking a chance on support groups.
L's diagnosis was just before Christmas 2022 and your book has helped me put away my anger. I thought she was just rude with an 'entitled' attitude. We have our Gdaughter living with us now (Mom has her own place)and have seen leaps and bounds of improvement in her personality and school. I'm hoping your book will give me the words to explain what her Mom is living with. Hopefully now that your D40 has an official diagnosis, some doors might open for the better in her life, and in yours. Has she been accepting of the diagnosis? Or more in denial? That's great that you can have your GD living with you, so you can provide stability and consistency. How old is your GD right now? How does she seem to be doing with living with you? Does she spend time with her mom at all?
