I need help and support. Im pretty certain my husband has BPD, and I feel overwhelmed, alone and lost.

I'm new here but so far everyone is super helpful! You've come to the right place. I am so sorry you are hurting. Someone will get back to you soon. I have been reading reading reading all the tools and forums on this website. Put a few keywords in that Bing bar and you will find what you need.

Hi Silas and welcome to the group -- glad you reached out for some support.

Just a few questions to help us understand your situation better: How long have you and your H been married, and do you have any kids? When did you first notice that something was "off"? And what would you say the behaviors/traits are that lead you to suspect BPD?

Whether it's an official diagnosis or not, the actions, behaviors, traits, and interpretations of pwBPD (persons with BPD) are incredibly challenging to cope with. So many members here -- myself included -- have also felt overwhelmed when faced with the emotional intensity and rapidly changing perspectives. It's pretty normal to feel lost when you first suspect BPD and a lot of pieces start falling into place. Fortunately, you're not alone here; we're here to walk alongside you on your journey of figuring out how you want to approach your marriage going forward.

A great place to start is checking out our section of articles on When a partner, spouse or girlfriend has Borderline Personality Disorder (https://bpdfamily.com/portfolio-4-cols). Give it a look and let us know your thoughts.

How have the last couple of days been for you?
