Title: Co-parenting is awful Post by: Sluggo on August 04, 2023, 10:54:25 PM Just had another bad experience trying to co-parent with an x-bpd spouse.
Kids just got back from their only court time with kids, 30 days. They went to moms home country. When I picked them up today, the medical equipment by son uses to walk was not there. Only my daughter's . Ex wife said I did not give it to her. However my 9 yr son said they left it in her home country. I repeated that to my ex and she said that was not true. My other son got home later tonight and said the same thing after me asking questions. It was not forth coming and both boys had tears in their eyes. But then older son said that there was 'another' walking device at ex spouses house that looks just like the one I gave her. Sad part of story... My son can not walk without it, and the 'walker ' she has she wont give to my son to use... I am angry, second guessing myself if I did leave it here (it has a huge footprint and I have a small house), and sad my son not is stuck and can't walk now until I buy another one which takes weeks and extremely expensive. Don't let your reality and memory be twisted by the claims otherwise. Yet ponder whether there's any way to retrieve the items? Are your legal issues so far in the past that it would do little good to get a legal opinion or perspective? Got a little sideways in my head... sometimes I don't realize the old wounds from the marriage can still hurt when I perceive them being repeated.

It hurts just reading this and can’t imagine how you feel. It’s really sad that pwbpd will go to great lengths to sabotage even their own children’s wellbeing- there’s no limit to the hurt they will cause. I hope you get a replacement equipment soon, maybe hire( if possible ) one in the meantime while you’re waiting for the replacement. I know in my country some local hospitals have equipment for hire. Take care of yourself, you are doing a great job, don’t let her illness make you doubt your sanity. Title: Re: Co-parenting is awful Post by: Sluggo on August 07, 2023, 09:50:27 AM Thank you Tangled.
Ex-wife just had to come clean on her 'fictious story's as it would have been evident once my other daughter got home with her equipment. Felt some vindication... I did call out to their bod mom why she scolded my son for telling the truth and my daughter to help continue that lie. Crazy making Sluggo Title: Re: Co-parenting is awful Post by: ForeverDad on August 07, 2023, 09:56:31 AM I wondered why the essential equipment got left behind? It's not like it was just oops we forgot. Is it too much to ask whether she's stocking up for a future time living there? Was the airfare or transport fee a lot? Or was it sold?

Is it too much to ask whether she's stocking up for a future time living there? Was the airfare or transport fee a lot? Or was it sold FD, I can see it being the first two questions: 1. FORGOT - they could have boarded the bus without it. Since it's a 3-hour ride from the house to the airport, they boarded the bus and didn't realize they forgot it until they reached the airport. 2. STOCKPILE: I can also equally envision her keeping it there for the future. |
