Title: New grandma and heartbroken
Post by: HeartbrokenGma on August 08, 2023, 02:33:55 PM
Just realizing my daughter in law may have BPD.  Our first grandchild was born a few weeks ago and it has been absolutely a terrible experience.  I’m heartbroken and don’t know when we will ever see the baby.  I am in contact with my son, he sends pictures and keeps me updated, but she wants nothing to do with me because I finally spoke up for myself and told her she was been rude.  Now I’m the one that caused drama and she is not willing to discuss anything. I was so excited to be a grandma and now I’m just totally overwhelmed.  Will it get any better?

What rude behaviors led to you speaking up?
