Kind of update on my cynical partner post. So the relationship is kind of long distance as we live in different towns. And I text him things like good morning/night, ask him how he is etc, general convo basically. But when he’s not doing well he’s so rude and I don’t know how to respond. I sound like a broken record most of the time, he says he’s not good, I ask if he wants to talk about it, he says no, I tell him he can always talk to me if he wants, I’m here for him, I love him etc. he’s blunt and cold so I wonder if I should give him more space but I don’t wanna stop checking up on him either. Since we’re not physically together, I don’t know how else to help him other than words, which don’t seem to help anyway.
