Title: The pain is unearable
Post by: Leslisf on November 17, 2023, 12:07:01 PM
My 28 year old BPD daughter’s relentess blame and now cutting me and my family (her family too) out of her wedding & life.
She was diagnosed when she was 15,. She has both an axis I and axis Ii diagnosis.. I’m exhausted and in such emotional pain.
It feels so irrational & I feel helpless.
A relief to be here.

Hi Leslisf and welcome. It is such a relief to find this group and to know that you're with others who understand the pain and challenge of having a pwBPD in your family.

15 to 28 is a long time to cope with BPD traits and behaviors. Is your D28 still living with you?

What happened for you to find out that she is cutting you out of her wedding and her life?

I’m so sorry you are struggling with this.  One moment they make you think they’re so dependent on you that they’ll die if you’re not around.  The next they cut you off.  I call it emotional terrorism.  The confusion is exhausting.  The trying to figure them out is exhausting. I hope you figure out what action, if any is best for YOU.
