Title: Hurting
Post by: Lad’s Lilla on March 21, 2024, 12:37:18 AM
My granddaughter raged on me and has tried to set me up to look awful. I have 2 great grandchildren whom I have been with since they were born for the past 2 years. One is a year the other is 2. She has told people I have attacked her with her child in her arms which is partially true. She was ranging on me and became violent punching me in the mouth a week after I had oral surgery and still had stitches in. She was holding my hair so I grabbed a swifter dry mop and popped her on the head to get away from her. Long story short she is using the children to punish me. I have taken care of those babies at least 3-5 times a week since they were born and they stay the night.

But I just am bewildered. I love her and the children so much.

Hi Lad's Lilla,
Thank you for writing in .  You are starting to read "Stop Walking on Eggshells" which is great.  Here is a link about grandparents with BPD adult kids on this forum: https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=145769.0
. It is a gut punch when the adult BPD child holds the grandkids hostage.   Please continue to put your safety and well being first , especially since there is violence. There is really no real way to figure out what triggers the BPD adult.  It would be good for you to put the focus back onto your self and your healing.
Please keep writing back to us as you are able.
