I am just joining this group. I am a graduate of Family Connections (a year ago), and now also am part of the Moving Forward discussion group that interacts through email. I am 77 and my uBPD wife is 70; we are both retired, which is when her BPD seemed to ramp up. We have a 34-year-old daughter who lives in Sydney, Australia. We live in southern California.
Is this the same as Welcome to Oz?

Hi Garbanzo and a warm welcome to BPDfamily! We aren't the same group as WTO; you can learn a bit more about us by clicking this Mission and Purpose (https://bpdfamily.com/about) link.

Good to hear that you took the Family Connections class; we recommend that here. Was your wife aware that you attended? If so, how did she respond?

We take confidentiality seriously here, for everyone's protection, so when you have a free minute, check out our confidentiality guideline (https://www.bpdfamily.com/guidelines#confidentiality) -- one of the strengths of this group is the ability to be totally anonymous yet still receive support (probably different from Family Connections -- I'm signed up but haven't attended yet, so I am not sure.).

You mention your daughter is 34... does she know what's going on with her mom?

Looking forward to being here for you;
