Title: How do I get my husband to be evaluated for BPD? Post by: LearnaboutBPD on June 27, 2024, 02:19:23 AM I feel my husband has traits of BPD, and he is currently in therapy for depression and anxiety. I don't believe any testing has been done for BPD. How can I get my husband evaluated for BPD? I don't feel comfortable suggesting it to him. Thank you.

Glad you found us to get some more support in your life. BPD can effect the closest relationships the most, and marriage is that closest relationship. How long have the two of you been married? And what traits did you first notice that caused you to suspect BPD? It's good to hear your H is open to therapy -- that's truly commendable and a positive sign. How long has he been attending? And have you ever gotten therapy/counseling for yourself? How can I get my husband evaluated for BPD? It's a good question, and one that many members have shared. What would your goal be, if he were to get evaluated? What outcome are you hoping for? Title: Re: How do I get my husband to be evaluated for BPD?
